Portland Open House

We're building a home where we can be our whole messy, beautiful, grieving, joyful complex vital selves. Where we can relearn how to build from loss and weave the wild diversity we each contain into a web that holds us - flexible, resilient, brilliant, strong.

Alex Wilson will be opening the house this month. She is a board member, grief therapist and death care worker and she also designed and leads the Compassionate Death Companion series at The House. Come meet and talk with her, read a book, draw a picture of your sorrow, write letters to your beloveds, share food and tea, dream about the home we want and help us make it.
