Sit in Parks

We will be gathering in Columbia Park next Thursday at noon in the grass of the central clearing to sit quietly, together.

We'll start by greeting and welcoming each other. We'll make offerings, one by one, to the park - some physical thing (a leaf or rock) or some words (yours or someone else's) or just our energy - and thank her for welcoming us.

Then we'll sit or lie down or walk slowly in the park - whatever feels right, which might be different for each of us -  for 20 minutes.

Then we'll come back together, talk a little bit, thank the park and each other, and continue into our days - a little more quiet, a little more connected.

Bring a blanket to sit and all of your feelings.

As always - this is a free event. If you have the ability to offer a donation of any ammount we will be happy to put it to use to bring more events like this to our community.
