The Portland Grief House invites you to join The Lost Table a Splanglish Edition. Una mesa que es resiliente, fuerte y segura for those who have experienced a significant loss. Take a seat, bring a dish and feel free to share desde tu corazón con buena compañía.

How do you deal with your grief when you are struggling to understand it? A veces el duelo necesita buena comida y sobre todo buena compañia.  The Portland Grief House is happy to help carry on this lovely tradition started by the Side Yard Farm, and this time we have a happy switch, this time we want to invite all Spanish or spanglish speakers to share their grief.

In the hopes of offering more people time to talk and be heard meaningfully, we'll be breaking into a few smaller groups of 5 or so people para compartir. Our schedule para la tarde will look a little something like this:

6 - 6:15(ish) - nos reunimos con comida and chat with people you've met at Lost Table before, introduce yourself to new people.  6:15 - 6:45(ish) - settle around una mesita and share your stories, memories and feelings plus photos drawings - whatever feels important.

6:45 - 7:00(ish) - stretch your legs, get more food, chat and mingle.

7:00 - 7:30(ish) - Come together with a new group around a una mesita diferente para escuchar más historias.

7:30 - 7:45(ish) - Clean up, talk with folks, gathering your things, exchange information as you're called to.

7:45 - 8:00 - whole group closing activity y la despedida.

Para Traer:  - un plato para compartir with serving utensils - dinner ware for yourself (plate, bowl, spoon, fork, napkin) - bebida for yourself.

Esperamos verlos pronto!
