Whole, Uninjured

Holy

from PIE root *kailo- "whole, uninjured"

I don't know how to keep things whole, uninjured.

Most things I guard get sick and sicker.

Worship

from Proto-Germanic *wertha- "toward, opposite," hence "equivalent, worth"

+

Proto-Germanic *-skepi-"to create, ordain," from PIE root *(s)kep-, "to cut, scrape, hack"

My circling and cutting off makes them lank, less and less glossy, ravenous, with troubling breath.

Sacred

from PIE root *sak- "make sacred, sanctify."

Sacred

comes from sacred.

But, before it was sacred? No, it was always sacred.

Divine

from PIE root *dyeu- "to shine"

So then, set it free? Make it

sanctified - whole, unbroken

lit and alight.

Pray

from PIE root *prek- "to ask, request, entreat."

I'll try. I request direction. Please

show me

how.
